Stories and Prints
Many of my illustrations are developed into lino prints. I love the physical nature of the process, the attention to detail it requires, and the satisfaction of creating a finished print by hand. Much of my illustrative work begins as short stories written for my nieces, which I then bring to life visually through illustration.
My work has a whimsical, child-friendly quality. Fun, bold, and playful, which naturally lends itself to the textured, graphic style of lino printing. One of my favourite illustration experiences was taking part in the illustration fair at Spitalfields Market, where I met other creatives and shared conversations with like-minded people about design, illustration, and making.
